N.O.V.A. 3 Announced by Gameloft

In not wholly unexpected news, Gameloft have confirmed the existence of the third title in their sci-fi shooter series, N.O.V.A. The title, N.O.V.A. 3 has been formally announced, and will be coming soon toAndroid.
Otherwise, details are pretty much non-existent. Gameloft  have been holding press events, and have said that more information will be revealed soon. In the meantime, check out the teaser video after the break. It doesn't give much away, but it still looks pretty incredible all the same.
What good is your device’s high-performance GPU if there’s no game to make use of it, right?
One title that has continually tried to push the limit of Android devices is Gameloft’s N.O.V.A series, which is as good as a full-blown FPS game on a mobile platform can be. After teasing gamers with the release of a trailer showcasing amazing cutscenes, Gameloft just released a new trailer that shows off the actual gameplay of N.O.V.A 3.
The third iteration of the series, N.O.V.A 3 is expected to feature some of the most impressive graphics you’ve seen in a mobile game and an enhanced, action-packed gameplay. The new teaser takes us through a series of high-octane battle scenes, seemingly set in an urban setting (New York, most likely). The graphics look remarkable and N.O.V.A 3 may just be one of the most visually impressive mobile games yet. Take a look for yourself.

N.O.V.A 3 will take players to a 10-mission campaign, and each will reportedly last for up to an hour. The usual list of weaponry will be available to satisfy your mayhem addiction, including classics like the Rocket Launcher, Assault Rifle, Grenade Launcher, Shotgun, and more. You’ll also get to use some vehicles as you go through the game, such as a jeep and even a jet pack!
Gameloft’s N.O.V.A 3 will be released this May for Android and iOS devices, though no specific date was mentioned in the teaser video. Prior to the launch, Gameloft plans to show it off in San Francisco, next week. Trigger-happy gamers should have no problem playing with their buddies: Gameloft said that the online multiplayer feature will support up to 12 players.
Here’s hoping that Gameloft won’t put too much of a premium in the pricing department.
